HP Photosmart P1115 Colour Ink Cartridge Refill Instructions

Carefully follow the refill instructions below to refill your HP Photosmart P1115 colour ink cartridges.

These instructions are based on using a Jettec refill kit with specifically formulated inks suitable for refilling HP Photosmart P1115 colour ink cartridges although the principles are the same if you already have a refill kit.

Always Cover Your Working Area
With Folded Kitchen Paper In Case Of Ink Spillage

Important when refilling take care to refill colours as per the picture Not - as inferred on the cartridge label.

1. The filling holes are located on top of the cartridge. Using the drill provided, make holes in the positions marked.



2. Assemble the syringe and needle , Pierce the bottle seal and fill with the correct colour ink.



3. Insert the needle into the filling hole and push down into the cartridge. Important the cartridge contains sponge and slight resistance may be felt.



4. Slowly inject the ink. Blot the printhead with tissue to remove any excess ink before continuing to refill the next colour.



5. Important do not reseal the filling holes. Clean the syringe with water and dry before refilling with another colour.



6. Once the ink has stopped dripping from the printhead, insert your cartridge back into your printer and operate a cleaning cycle.



7. Your printer driver may display a screen to indicate that the cartridge is still empty, close this screen and continue as normal.



8. Clean the syringe and needle for future use.
