Refill Instructions
Carefully follow the refill instructions below to refill
your Canon BJC 2125 black ink cartridges and also to refill your Canon
BJC 2125 colour ink cartridges.
These instructions are based on using a Jettec refill kit
with specifically formulated inks suitable for refilling Canon BJC 2125
ink cartridges although the principles are the same if you already have
a refill kit

Always Cover Your Working Area
With Folded Kitchen Paper In Case Of Ink Spillage
- The Cap ( A ) must be removed first to uncover the filling holes.
To do this either trap the cap in a vice and leaver it off, or carefully
use a penknife to remove it. This does not apply to the BC20 Cartridge.
- Enlarge the fill holes ( B ) with the drill provided. Tightly tape
the ink delivery holes at the base of the cartridge before refilling.
- Assemble the syringe and needle, pierce the bottle seal and fill with
ink.
- Insert the needle into the enlarged fill hole so that the needle
is about halfway down in the cartridge. At this point if you are refilling
the colour cartridge be sure that you are filling the correct colour
chamber with the correct colour ink.
- Important the cartridge contains
sponge and slight resistance may be felt
- When ink appears at the fill hole, slightly draw back the syringe
plunger until the ink just disappears. The cartridge is now full. If
you are filling a colour cartridge clean the syringe and needle thoroughly
with water before filling with the next colour ink.
- Whilst holding the cartridge upright over a sink or basin, carefully
remove the tape from the delivery holes. Ink will probably drip from
the cartridge for a while. Do not
allow colours to mix at the outlet ports.
- When the cartridge has stopped dripping carefully blot the bottom
with some absorbent material taking care not to cross contaminate the
colours
- The cartridge is ready for use.
- Clean the syringe and needle for future use.
